Greetings all, at the Monday night UWA sessions coming up we have Travis in next week (the 17th), and the following week we’ll be having a double female session with Nicola and Molly (who will be 33 weeks at that point, so this will be the last time we have her in for a very long time I’m sure).
This coming Sunday (the 16th) at the Drawing School, they’ll be having in the living statue, Xanthea, who will be starting off nude and slowly dress in her statue attire during the session. This sounds awesome, and not to be missed. And just a reminder that if you head out to any of the Sunday sessions at the Drawing School till the end of September, you’ll get a stamp towards my sessions on Monday nights (for those who do not know, I have a frequent drawer card, when you come out to five sessions you get the sixth free, so this way you can double dip… actually triple dip as you can also get them if you head to the Mt Hawthorn sessions on Tuesday nights).
Happy drawing everybody!
There has been a change in the model for next week. I originally announced that David 2 (the name I shall be referencing him by to separate him from the other David we’ve had in quite a few times before) would be our model but he has had to cancel, so instead we will be having Travis as our model for the session. Following that, on the 7th, we’ll be having a new model by the name of Tess.
I also wish to let you all know that one of our regulars, Tom, will be having a solo show of his works next Friday (April 4th) in Artlaab (right across the street from us, the south east corner of Stirling Hwy and Hampden Rd [or Broadway as it becomes]) starting @6pm. So come on out.
We had a slow night on Monday with Sebastián running the show. Can’t say I blame you all though, the weather was terrible.
This Monday (the 22nd) we’ll be having Chloe in, which will be great as it has been over a year since we last had her in. On the 27th Travis will be our model for the night.
In other news, I’ll be updating the blog shortly in regards to Wednesday evening sessions as they have now moved to Erwin’s studio. Make sure to call ahead as seating is limited.
And lastly, one of our UWA regulars, Chris Poole, is having a solo show at Artlaab (just across the road from where we are located) next month. The details are:
Fractions (new works 2013)
6pm Friday August 2nd for the opening night, then 11-4 from the 3rd-8th.
Artlaab’s actual address is No. 6 Broadway, Crawley (the old Black Swan Theatre Co. building).
Sorry about the late update, just a heads up that our model at tomorrow nights session at UWA will be Travis.
Also, some may have noticed the new tab on the page; as it says, it’s a page with links to all of the instructed sessions I know about. If you know of anymore, please feel free to send me a link and I’ll put it on the page.
Photos from the last three sessions are below, and the models we had in for those were: Travis, Lucy and Bianca
Good evening all,
Just a quick update to let you all know that next week we’ll be having Travis as our model for the evening. The following week will be a new model for us (and in general as, unless she models between now and then, it’ll be her first time modelling) by the name of Lucy.
I forgot to upload the ones from last week when we had Travis in, so in the slacker way, I’m uploading them along with the images from last nights session with Bianca too. We had a great last two weeks, and have had musical accompaniment among the likes of Talking Heads, Pulp, Blondie and David Bowie.
Sorry folk, I keep forgetting to post updates about the models we have coming up. Last week we had new-to-Perth Xiu Lei in (pictures from the session will go up tomorrow), tomorrow night (the 20th) we have in new-for-us Travis (who is a regular model for the Artistic Hen) and the following week we’ll be having in another new face for us, Bianca (who comes highly recommended).
