Some unfortunate news

Greetings all, I just received confirmation today from Gary that the Tuesday night sessions at the King St Art Centre have been discontinued effective immediately due to a ridiculous decision on the part of the DCA to up the rent to over $100 an hour. And to not even give him any advance warning of that happening which is a real douche bag thing for a government department to do.
So Gary is now in the process of finding a new location and I will post the details as soon as they become available.
Ciao

Lots of the pretty pictures

I have the whole lot of images to put up, and so I have. The whole month of June in fact. These images are from when we had in Anita, Marnie and Vincent (and in that order).

A little behind

Greetings all, my apologises for a lack of updates.

We’ve had a fantastic turn out the last two weeks (from which I will be putting up pictures from next week’s I’m a little behind now) with Anita (in which was her last modeling gig here in Oz) and Marnie. This Monday (the 25th) we’ll be having in a new model for us by the name of Vincent.

As I mentioned in last week’s session I’ll be having someone else fill in for me for the month of July as I have some other things I need to take care of. Sebastian is one of our regulars and knows how the sessions are run, so you’ll all be in good hands. So the sessions are still on, and I have most of the models booked in for the month already so everything will run smoothly. The only real difference is that there will now be someone else’s music for everyone to make fun of (as now Bling Melon has been added to the list of Stereolab and Alice Cooper as not being good music).

Cancellation and some other info. Plus pictures!

Hello all. It was brought to my attention on Monday that next Monday (the 4th), is a holiday (Foundation Day or some such thing). As such, there will not be a session that night after all. Which works out well as jasmine was going to have to cancel as it was. We’ll be back on the 11th with Anita.

In other news, one of our regular drawers, George, is going to be in an art show (along with quite a few other artists) titled Looking Through Windows – Personal Journeys Through Australia. It opens this coming Friday at 6pm and will be at 464 Smart Space (464A William Street). Official bookface-thing is here.

We had a great session with David as our model. Pictures are below and the musical themes for the evening were The Beatles and Arcade Fire.

A big old catch up

Hello all, so I have four (!) weeks worth of images to catch up on. Over the last four weeks we’ve had in Kieran (who was accompanied by the the soothing sounds of Huey Lewis and the News), Nin (complete with battle damage from a bike mishap), Jane (who came in with a sword, spear and shield) and Sophie (who managed to give us a great turnout even though the weather was terrible last Monday).
This week (the 14th), we have a new model (well, for us as we’ve never had her in before) by the name of Chloe.
